In a beautifully restored temple complex in Bagan, I found these beautiful floor tiles inside one of the smaller buildings next to the main stuppa. I am not sure if the flower is a lotus but imagine some sort of buddhist elements in the tiles? What do you think? We also ran into a guard at this temple in army fatigues, with what looked like an assault rifle in tow. An interesting temple restored to its former grandeur Many of the temple complexes and pagodas are in dire need of repair or restoration all over Bagan and likely all over Burma.
