Bikes are used for all sorts of things including moving produce from one side of the market to the other as this guy was doing in Bagan. We arrived in Bagan and headed directly to the market before even going to our hotel because it was “market day” and sometimes they are only once every five days. I was struck by how people transport objects around the market and around town. Many of the women carried large objects balanced on their head. It was a great way to start the Bagan part of the trip.
